Just an update

I wanted to update everyone on my life recently. I have been missing from picture posts, daily updates and emailing back in an efficient and timely manner and I wanted to explain why. My husband and I found out 3 weeks ago that we are expecting our second child. Normally I would have waited to announce such amazing news after we entered into our second trimester. I am having some early complications which has led to an early post to all my clients. Because of these complications my doctor ordered me to bed rest. I am having to cancel many of my sessions as well as stay off the computer and rest as much as possible. I am going to try my hardest to reschedule each and every one of your canceled sessions but I know some of these are time sensitive (maternity, birthdays etc) and I understand if you need to seek out another photographer to get the pictures you need in a timely manner. This is so hard for me to come to terms with because all I want to do is be there for each and every one of your sessions. I do not want to lose any of my clients and I do not want to put any of you in a bind with pictures. I am truly sorry. But I also need to think of my health and the baby's health and do what is best for us. I hope you can all understand if I do not get back to you quickly. Hopefully this pregnancy will get on the right track soon and I can get back to a normal life with work and family. Prayers are greatly appreciated.

New businesses can come with stress....

I am still trying to catch up from Holiday Sessions. I not only over booked myself in November and December but as much of you know, I was hospitalized the day after Christmas which put me even further behind.  {Lesson learned}. I just now got caught up from all my December shoots. Now to conquer January and it is already February. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, I love it more than any other job I could ever have. I get to photograph smiles, some cries, laughter, love, real life moments, goofy awkward poses that just make everyone laugh and then I get to create these beautiful memories for you to take home and cherish forever, but a long with all the fun comes really hard work. I started my business only about 8 months ago, it has taken off in a way I couldn't have ever imagined. It is truly a blessing. Sometimes I look at my emails and I am overwhelmed with the amount of people who want to book a session. I am not going to lie, I get a little stressed with it all sometimes, but I handle it quite well I must say. I schedule myself in a much organized manner now and only allow myself a certain amount of sessions a month so I don't over-do-it. My Mother-in-law once told me "Don't stress about the stuff that won't effect you in 10 years," and that is the best piece of advice I could have ever received at this time in my life. It is so true, whatever it is you have to get done...whether it is a dead-line for your boss, a doctors appointment you're not looking forward to, an exam for all you college kids, or just something going on for that {week} do not stress about it. You will get it done, everything will be fine, just {breath}. I have to constantly remind myself of that. It keeps me sane and keeps me pushing through the day. A little bit of me that I wanted to share. Have a great Friday everyone. xoxo

Here is the latest shoot I had. This is Cash, he turned two that day. We had a blast down town with the balloons and all the props. He was such a natural in front of the camera. I love how these turned out.

B Faith {the blog}

I went back and forth for weeks trying to decide if I should start {the blog} or not. I asked many of my friends and clients what they thought and most said it would be much easier to follow me that way. I am a big Facebook junkie so I assume everyone uses Facebook as much as me, but I was surprised to find that others liked following {bloggers} better. I always have a lot to share, and too much to say on Facebook, I guess this is where I can share all of that. So welcome to B Faith Photography {the blog}
